Children's Support Worker

Two leading and very successful organisations in the homelessness and related sectors, HomeGround and Hanover, have merged to form a new agency, Launch Housing, with an ambitious agenda to achieve our vision of ending homelessness. Launch Housing is a strong, single, focused voice on homelessness driven by the values of Empowerment, Fresh Thinking, Agility, Leadership and Courage.

Bob's Place (Dandenong) is a residential facility with services including temporary accommodation (for up to eight weeks with a possibility of extension), case management, transitional support and other services for families, couples and singles. Bob's Place includes 4 family units, 9 rooms for single persons and 2 for couples.

The Children's Support Worker is responsible for providing high quality, client focused case management services. The Children's support worker will provide case management support to children and young people from 0 - 25 years who are at risk of or who have experienced homelessness. The position will also provide information and referral pathways, recreational group work and educational support.‚Äč
